NZ...A Gay Haven for a Trans-Takeover

NZ...A Gay Haven for a Trans-Takeover

OPINION PIECE
Brian TAMAKI

This weekend, the Rainbow Manifesto found support from a surprising coalition of politicians: Labour's Chris Hipkins and National's Chris Luxon. For True Christians and concerned Kiwi Parents, this alliance may be a deal-breaker. It's time to rethink our party votes and unite around common sense, conscience, and the safety of our children.

There is only one man in NZ who has been bold enough, and brave enough to push back on the Transgender agenda that is taking over. Yes, you guessed it...me! Everyone else has fallen into the trap of seeking this movement’s seal of approval with their Rainbow ticks bandied around as badges of honour. Who gave the Rainbow community this much leverage and power in this nation?

If there’s one voice in New Zealand that has consistently for decades pushed back on the Transgender & Rainbow invasion, love me or hate me, the nation knows it has been Brian Tamaki!

However, don’t get it twisted. I love all people, including those who have chosen to be LGBTQIA+. But I fervently oppose the Rainbow community pushing their beliefs and ways onto the rest of society, particularly onto our children. They need to keep their persuasions to the privacy of their bedrooms, not parade them in public and playgrounds.

Yesterday’s Rainbow Manifesto announcement from our Prime Minister Chris Hipkins, as he danced around with Drag Queens, came as no surprise. I’ve been warning of this pending takeover for years. Is it enough to finally shake the Christian voter awake this time around? Even more concerning than Chippy’s Drag Show was Christopher Luxon’s agreement that he too supports the Transgender movement and what they stand for.

Labour’s proposal to open up Rainbow refugee opportunities for foreigners to come into New Zealand, the restrictions on sexually active gay men being lifted so they can give blood into our blood banks, making sex-change surgeries more accessible, they want to implement a child rights based health care system for intersex children removing parental consent, push the Relationships & Sexuality Curriculum harder in our schools, more gender neutral bathrooms & uniforms and Rainbow inclusive curricula in schools, protect LGBTQIA rights under the Human Rights Act and much more, show how far we have morally declined as a nation that these are even talted as election promises by a major party.

Since 2004, at the inception of my first protest with Enough is Enough, I have consistently opposed what I could see taking place back in our nation...the creep of the Rainbow community that had set their sights on making NZ a gay haven. Way back in 2004 we began this journey by opposing the Civil Unions bill and delaying gay marriage.

Ever since, I have been publicly slandered and targeted by politicians, government departments, police, media and the public, perhaps even by you!

Yet, looking beyond the media rederict you can see I was always standing up for the protection of traditional family values in this country, and conserving our founding faith of Christianity.

I believe I have been relentless in this fight, while most of my Christian colleagues have cowered in fear and curtailed to political and public pressure to be inclusive.

Since 2004 we’ve seen too many world firsts, and it’s gone way too far.

The New Zealand government proudly promotes us worldwide now as ‘Proud to be a Rainbow Nation’. https://www.nzstory.govt.nz/stories/proud-to-be-a-rainbow-nation/ They go on to promote:
• We are an inclusive society that earned the reputation as the ‘social laboratory of the world’. (Unbelievable – they openly admit it)
• New Zealand is known as a liberal nation
• The first country that had an openly transgender politician
• A country that now holds the title of the most rainbow Parliament in the world
• NZ has recognised same-sex civil unions since 2004
• The first country in Pacific-Oceania to legalise same-sex marriage in 2013
• Adoption by same-sex couples was also legalised in 2013
• New Zealand’s military ranks number one in the LGBT Military Index
• Auckland has been rated alongside Toronto, San Francisco and Lonson as one of the top gay-friendly cities in the world, with a remarkable pride festival.

And where have the Christians been while this happened on our watch? Sadly, many Christians have sat quietly in their homes, and from the comfort of their couch they watch the 6pm news every night, shaking their heads at the moral decline in our nation. They are happy to spend hours in prayer for our nation, but unfortunately lack the courage needed to take action.

Here’s the good news. This is your moment though Christians! It’s your chance to right past wrongs. I am leading a campaign of courage this election. This is our opportunity together to strike back, and push back the Transgender Agenda.

Your vote is your voice this election. Your vote can return Christ to this nation!

This election you can not vote for any of the establishment parties. Labour, National, ACT, NZ First, Greens, Te Pāti Māori...they all subscribe to the transgender agenda and are under its spell. None of these party leaders have a personal relationship with Christ. Here is a snap-shot of what they stand for, that should concern every Christian!

NATIONAL
Faith:
• Christopher Luxon initially declared himself to be a Christian
• Luxon has more recently publicly denied his faith on many occassions, stating he also no longer attends church
Transgender/Rainbow Issues:
• Luxon agrees that “Yes” gay people should be able to give blood to blood banks regardless of sexual activity and risks of viruses being spread (30.09.23 NewsHub)
• Luxon has said “I am a strong advocate for the rainbow community” (30.09.23 NewsHub)
• When asked if Luxon personally supports gay marraige he said, “Yes I do, I think everybody should be free to love whoever they want” (30.09.23 NewsHub)
Abortion:
• When questioned in public about the extreme abortion laws and if Luxon would repeal it, he said “The laws are sealed and we need to respect that.” When challenged further that in Government he could change that, he went on to forcefully say “We are not going to do that.” (30.09.23 NewsHub)

Conclusion: No God-fearing Christian can vote National

ACT
• David Seymour has voted AGAINST Christian family values in every area:
- Euthanasia
- Abortion
- Marriage
- Parenting & Family
- Gender Ideolody & Critical Theory
- Conversion therapy
- Prostitution
- Alcohol

Conclusion: No God-fearing Christian can vote ACT

NZ FIRST
Gender Identity:
• NZ First’s Tracey Martin sponsered a bill before Parliament to amend the process of changing gender on birth certificates – this is now law
• NZ First removed birth certifcate gender change fee (Aug 2019)
Euthanasia:
• Winston Peters praised alongside David Seymour for the ‘End of Life Bill’ being successful
• All of the NZ First MPs voted FOR the End of Life Choice Act 2020
Abortion:
• Winston Peters voted FOR the extremeties in the Abortion Legislation Act 2020 including:
- Opposed born alive provisions
- Opposed a ban on sex selection
- Opposed a ban on disability discimination
- Opposed foetal pain provision
- Opposed limits on late term abortions
- Opposed conscientious objection option for medical professionals who do not want to participate in abortions
• Winston Peters opposed parents being informed of a teen’s request for an abortion
Rainbow Matters:
• Winston Peters opposed Marriage Celebrants having the right to refuse conducting same-sex weddings
• NZ First’s Tracey Martin launched the nasty Relationships & Sexuality Curriculum in our schools in Sept 2020.
• NZ First made headlines “School sex ed update tackles consent, inclusion, online porn” (Sept 2020)
• Winston Peters says his party’s policy is not anti-trans (Aug 2023)

Conclusion: No God-fearing Christian can vote NZ First.

I don’t think I need to outline how liberal and Trans-friendly Labour, Greens and Te Pāti Maori are...they parade it daily in broad daylight.

However, there is hope! With my leadership, Freedoms New Zealand is the shining light you’ve been looking for in the political abyss!

The well-being of our nation hinges on you electing Freedoms NZ to Parliament, ensuring that the Christian community has a robust voice in government. We're committed to addressing the world's most extreme abortion laws and taking the first steps towards ending the heartrending act of baby termination. Brian Tamaki, Co-Leader of Freedoms NZ speaks up, “As we learn of babies being decapitated by Hamas, as Hamas calls for mass mobilisation of the Arab and Muslim world this Friday in support of Palestinians, and as the world stares down the barrel of a possible World War III in Israel, we can not run the risk as a nation of allowing politicians or parties into positions of power in our Parliament who may be sympathisers with Palestine or Hamas. Many of our politicians are cunning enough this week to stay quiet on such matters, until after the election, but we need to haul them and their opinions out into the open before the majority of Kiwis vote. Kiwis deserve to know where politicians clearly stand when it comes to Israel. They are either for or against Israel. There is no grey area when innocent babies are being massacred.”

Three days out from our General Election, with Israel and Palestine now at war, can we risk being drawn into a bloodbath as New Zealanders if we vote the wrong people into power? Based on polling it's apparent that the only way Labour and the Greens will get back into Government is if Winston Peters goes into coalition with them. But what exactly is at stake with an Israeli-Palestinian war begun in the background? Hamas has been condemned worldwide for its atrocious unprovoked attack on innocent lives over the weekend, opening fire on young people at a music festival, shooting people in their homes, firing rockets into civilian territory. But not all sectors of society are condemning the attacks. Disturbingly, large crowds in American and European cities, London, even as close as Australia have risen up in support of Hamas and the terrorism it has carried out, seeing it as a defining act in Palestine's liberation fight. Even our own Sonny Bill Williams has waded into the debate throwing his support behind Hamas. Hamas is labeled a terrorist organization by the United States, the European Union, the U.K. and others. A resolution to label Hamas a terrorist group failed to pass in the U.N. in 2018. Hamas rejects Israel's right to exist and is dedicated instead to the creation of a Palestinian country in the region. The group has both sociopolitical and military functions and receives crucial support and weapons from Iran. You might throw your hands on the air and say so what, what does that have to do with the NZ elections? In a recent poll, only 27% of people believed Winston Peters when he said he wouldn't go into coalition with Labour (and by default the Green Party). After all, history shows us Winston has done this before. In light of what has just happened in the Middle East, who would a Labour-Green-NZ First Govt support now that war has been declared in Israel? Chris Hipkins has been clear to condemn the Hamas attacks because of their nature, not because of where they have come from. New Zealand is one of 55 countries in the 193-state United Nations that does not recognise Palestine as a state. However, the Labour government in the past couple of weeks said it would consider meeting with the Palestinian ambassador to assess his credentials - a first step in the process towards diplomatic relations. Hipkins said the increase in hostilities would not affect those plans. He told Radio New Zealand: "No, not necessarily. But Hamas is recognised by New Zealand as a terrorist organisation and the plan to invite the Palestinian ambassador to present their credentials was not going to change that." The Green Party's Golriz Ghahraman, an Iranian refugee, has a history of fighting on behalf of Palestine inside of our own Parliament. In December 2020, Ghahraman joined fellow Green MP Teanau Tuiono and Labour MP Ibrahim Omer in pledging to form a new parliamentary Palestine friendship group to "raise the voices of Palestinian peoples in the New Zealand Parliament" during an event organised by the Wellington Palestine advocacy group to mark "International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinians." In May 2021, Ghahraman sponsored a motion calling for Members of Parliament to recognise the right of Palestinians to self-determination and statehood. Ghahraman also defended fellow Green MP Ricardo Menéndez March's tweet that said: "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free!" And in May 2019, Ghahraman shockingly referred to Mary and Joseph, the parents of Jesus Christ as Palestinian refugees, which drew criticism from the NZ Jewish Council. Giving Winston Peters even the chance to create a Labour-Greens-NZ First coalition will lead NZ down a path to destruction none of us could even comprehend. The only political leader to openly throw their support behind Israel has been Brian Tamaki. Our traditional allies have done the same. Will you run the risk of supporting a party who has the potential to do the opposite?
